Played only one top 15 team and lost, didn't play a CCG. As even Jesse Palmer said, they didn't even pass the "eye test"!

We WILL beat them, but it is b.s.. If bama beats Auburn and goes to the SEC championship and lose to UGA they are out. So in essence they are rewarded for losing the Iron bowl. Crazy!

I think this decision is BS too but I disagree on that last point.
Bama beats Auburn, they are absolutely #1 with a lock. They lose SEC championship to UGA in a close one (and let's be honest, UGA would've never blown out Bama) and they drop from #1 to what? #3 or #4 at worst?
If anything, the Top 4 would be exactly the same, but with much less debate. Bama with a road win over AUB is a no-brainer over OSU even if they lose to UGA.
The biggest loser in all this is Auburn.... who basically beats two #1 teams back-to-back, in November no less, only to see them BOTH in the playoffs anyway while they get excluded. (That's why you can't ever lose to LSU.)
And the biggest winner is UGA... who splits a 1-and-1 with Auburn, and gets into the playoff (and wins the SEC) without ever playing Bama at all. It's absolutely insane that WE are playing Bama before the winner of the SEC does this year.
Imagine a scenario where FSU had beat Bama this year... Lost a close game to Miami but gone 11-1 otherwise.... and we win the ACC but NEVER play them. That's Georgia this year.

I'm having a hard time following that. How could we have won the ACC without playing FSU?

You are right but they didn't control their own destiny.....if not from that bad holding call against Wisconsin Bama would be sitting home.
