Last year they were very inconsistent. I have seen them look great and pretty dang bad on both sides of the ball.
They have 2 decent qbs. Starkel is tough and pretty solid while Mond is raw but has an arm and great legs. Our D should get to both of them and cause some TOs.
They have a Doak watch list RB.
They lost their playmaker and best wr.
Their D looked good last year at times but WF exposed them.
They return 16 starters and have a coach that can make them pretty dang good imo. I think Fishers style is better suited for their personal.
What do you guys think? What do you know about them?
It is not going to be easy on the road with a well coached team that has some talent and experience.

We have more talent and a QB that has proven himself on the road with a DL that is the best in the nation. So no we are not doomed.

The bad:
Our 11 guys have to play against 12 of their guys.
The good:
New HC's usually take 2-3 years to really get the most out of a new team, so I don't think TAM with Fisher as HC is going to be too much of a huge threat so early in their season. Jimbo will still be screaming a lot at his players.
They lost to EVERY ranked team last year, and had the "choke of the year" against UCLA.
Common opponents last season:
They lost to Wake, and we beat Wake.
The beat USUC by 7 andwe beat USUC by 24.
They lost to Auburn and we beat Auburn.
So there's that I guess.
Personally, I think we win by at least 24, and it's over by the end of the 3rd.

I think we win and comfortably but if we make some mistakes and the crowd gets into it they are good enough to keep it close.

Nah man, seriously who knows what to expect from them with a new coach? We saw what happened with our offense from 2010 to 2011 so you never know. I will just be happy to come out of College Station with the W. I don’t care if it’s sloppy and all the dumpers come out. Early season games like this can be really flakey.

Agreed. Any road game, especially at night, against a team with top 15 talent is never easy.

but the cream will ultimately rise to the top (no disrespect to A&M intended, but comparatively speaking, Clemson is simply better on both sides of the ball) which means Clemson wins this game by double digits.
