Scott Cole also says a two loss SEC champion gets in the playoffs. It's this kind of journalistic crap that perpetuates the SEC and ACC bias.

If we go undefeated, and bama loses one of their next 3 games AND if both of us lose in our respective title games then it is plausible that bama gets into the playoff and that the ACC gets left out in favor of Bama, Mich/OSU, Washington, Big12.
(yes, they could just jump Louisville up there, depending on the rest of their season as well)
edit: I didn't listen to his show, so I don't know what his rationale was; this would just be hypothetical, obviously.

That is why Clemson's FB team should/must ignore everything that's being said in and out side of the media, and just concentrate on taking care of their business that is in front of them. Win one game at a time up to the NCG, then put all their focus on winning the National championship and bringing the most prestigious trophy in college FB back to Clemson. That is the only way to shut the mouths of people like Scott Cole up. Shut them up with winning and bragging about how we won it all!!!

Also, the SEC is Bama and aTm, Tenn is just lucky. AU is improved and Ole Miss is overrated, then the verdict on the "new" LSU is not close to being seen at this point.
The B1G actually has 3 teams this year, but besides Wisconsin playing Michigan, they really haven't played anyone. I know Wisconsin beat LSU, however, that was the run exclusive LSU on week 1.
Calling Cole a clown would be a compliment, imo.
