“Christine Nicol is a professor of animal welfare at Bristol University, who says that chickens have “many hidden depths.” She has found out and published in her paper, that the bird is capable of distinguishing numbers up to five and is familiar with the logic that, if A is greater than B, and B is greater than C, then A is greater than C.”

So, additionally, they do understand that Clemson (A) is greater than SCar (B), and B is greater than C (Georgia), then Clemson is greater that Georgia.

Jus goes to show that Coots ain’t as stoopid as generally thought!

The Tiger doesn’t care if the chickens understand what’s happening. The Tiger gets his meal and if he feels like having the same meal again later, he will.

What is amazing to me is that the chickens just keep coming back for more, while knowing the outcome. You think they'd learn.

Had bobcats get in my chicken coops. The chickens never win. Those were just bobcats.
