Some guy from SI said that Alabama should be #1 in college playoff poll. He said he was at the game between Clemson and Florida State and that Florida State dominated the line of scrimmage and that Alabama would do the same against Clemson. Am I missing something? The stats show Clemson with 515 total yards and and Florida State with 13 points. I see domination by the Tigers; not the Noles. This guy must have been drinking some SEC kool aid.

dominating the line of scrimmage could get one yard on TWO plays. On the other hand, a defense REALLY has to be dominant to prevent even a mediocre offense from getting one yard on two plays. I'm not saying FSU's offense was mediocre, just pointing to the facts that belie his logic.
