Saw the movie 1917 today.

If you like war movies, this one won't dissapoint. The premise of the movie is rather simple but the suspense and actiom certainly make up for that.

The one take filming is a little gimmicky and actually hurts with the timeline(this is supposed to be a 6-8 hour mission but is filmed in a 2 hr continous shot).

The ending is slightly anti-climatic as well, but the overall movie was well produced.

My Grandfather fought in that war. He was a member of the 30th Infantry Division aka the "Old Hickory" division made up of men/kids from SC, NC, Tn and Ga. I barely knew him, but I honor him and all who serve their country. I can't wait to see the film!
