There's nothing like spending a Saturday in Clemson.
That's true whether 80,000+ are packing Death Valley, a peaceful day out on the lake, or sharing stories and beverages with friends at your favorite hangout.
Saturday in Clemson...all Tiger fans can close their eyes and imagine a scene that brings a smile to your face.
We're living in fascinating times and the scene on Saturday, in Clemson, on Bowman Field should be one that will be remembered for a long time.
I can't wait to get down to Tigertown and see the amazing efforts that have been created by Clemson students to bring awareness for ALL of us to live by....and that is to respect each other and be aware that we're ALL in this together to make not only Clemson, but our respective communities a better, safer place.
There's absolutely nothing wrong in having disagreements and debates on the issues, but respect is free of charge and we should take advantage of it every, single day.
I applaud Clemson student-athletes Darien Rencher, Mike Jones, Jr., Trevor Lawrence and Cornell Powell for spearheading a grassroots effort to bring folks of different economic backgrounds, ethnicity, and values together for a common cause.
It was energizing listening to Darien and Trevor on the TV show this week, and the same goes for Aamir Simms...young people taking ownership and capturing the moment with a message of bettering our world is fantastic.
Be smart, stay safe...and I look forward to spending another great Saturday in Clemson.
