Satellites in rain...

Oct 2, 2015, 8:51 AM

Anyone have experience with the mobile satellites in the rain as far as losing signals? I have the king quest with dish....

Heavy rain can definitely block out the signal but agree with previous post. The wind will be your biggest issue. I'm leaving mine in the garage. This will be a no frills tailgate. I'm sure we'll see some sailing tents too.

Will be using Apple TV and iPhone. As long as my iPhone keeps its service, I'll be just fine.

I've tailgated for 30 years without one and still had a blast...just bought it this week and will use it for the next 30 years. So the only way I was screwed if your at know was last night by my beautiful wife while you were popping zits and playing war games. Don't be a ####.

Put the Satellite under the edge of a tent on the ground. As long as it's out of the rain and still have a clear line of sight you should be good.
