calling out the starting lineups and their hometowns for each team and they would run out to center court. They used to televise all of that. Now there is no way the greedy suits would allow that time away from commercials.

I was noticing during the national championship Sound of the Game telecast. The playoff banners all came out to the field with the banners of all five power five conferences. Then a person carrying a banner for each of the four teams that made the playoff, with the Alabama and Clemson Banner coming to the front of the four. ESPN didn't even show a fraction of a second of that. I didn't even know they did that. That time was either all commercials or used to hear the same talking heads say the same thing they had been saying for hours. ESPN needs to worry about really putting a microphone right in front of the bands when the pa announcer calls the teams out, champions of the Cotton Bowl etc..Sometimes the talkers need to take a break and let the tv audience hear the field sounds.

up Mon. jan 7 and it will give you all the broadcasts of the megacast. If you want the regular broadcast of Herbie and Fowler, I think that is the first one. Sounds of the game will say that in the title. That is without any announcers, but just field sounds. I liked Field Pass also. That was good. And thinking out loud was good, but its not for everyone.
Usually, it will end up on youtube as well, but I haven't seen the whole game show up on youtube yet. The Cotton Bowl and ACC Title game are already on youtube.

I remember being a Kid back before we had all the cable sports networks and I would watch all the JP games back to back to back. I could have told the starting lineup for every team in the ACC.
