In fact, Salyer said any conjecture out there is just that.

"I never confirmed it with anyone,” Salyer said. “It was just a thought going through my head that I guess someone felt the need to leak.”

This is just conjecture, but I believe Salyer sees a LOT of good in going to Clemson, I.e., XT, Lawrence, possibly Henry and Mays, but this might be a case of him already giving UGA that silent committment and being a little nervous to tell them he is backing off and going to Clemson. That booster pressure the dawgs boosters apply gets pretty heavy. His one angst is having to tell his mom she has to return the money. (Ok ok, the last point was a joke).
