and basketball against Jonathan. He came to a party we had after the Strom Thurmond-Saluda game once. I got to know him pretty well at CU.
Richard "Red" signed with South Carolina but drowned the summer before he started.

Nuk had the monster explosive year he had because Sammy had a sophomore slump. Now don't get me wrong, not saying Nuk didn't outwork Sammy in 2012 and didn't deserve to have the better year. I'm just saying, if we're judging both on a 3 year body of work, 1a has to go to Sammy.
Was rewatching the 2011 Maryland game last night. The ONLY reason we didn't lose that game, was because a True Freshman by the name of Sammy Watkins didn't want to lose that game.

could do more things better.
As great as Nuk was against LSU in 2012 with 13 catches or whatever it was, he could never dominate a game the way Sammy did against Maryland in 2011 or Ohio State in the Orange Bowl.
