We can win the next two games and still not go to the final. Need to have 2-four team brackets that play double elimination and the two winners play for the championship.

at least by being guaranteed 3 games, teams have a chance to end on a positive note, even if they don't play for the title, and set themselves up for a better run next week. Whoever loses the game between SC and Vanderbilt tomorrow goes home and has to think about it for more than a week.

I expect it to be moved to Charlotte soon after they finish their new stadium. Charlotte needs to be the home of all ACC Championships. Move Basketball there as well.

Is that you can set up your pitching rotation ahead of the regionals. Other than that I agree, it sucks and needs to be replaced.

there's a reason the NCAA does not use it for the CWS...they use double elimination. This format brings luck into the equation...any team can lose a game early and then are eliminated even if they go 2-1. It's horrible.

In a two way tie, goes to head to head....so, win out and nc state loses out then we are in. Also, in 3 way tie they now go on fewest runs allowed i believe. We were discussing last night and found info. If you think otherwise please provide link, I may be wrong
