Safeties

Jan 14, 2018, 5:34 PM

Just scrolled down the roster. With Smith gone, I see only two safeties who have any experience - Simmons and Muse. Great talent and depth at all other D positions. Almost embarrassing. Where does depth at safety come from? Did others play out of position so to speak this year? Wallace or Mullen? Can KB play safe? Okay, that was a joke!

I think Wallace played a lot of safety!***

Wallace is a Safety. Denzel Johnson is pretty good. I think Kyler might can play safety as well.

Wallace played safety just as much as Simmons (maybe even more). Denzel Johnson and Nolan Turner also got some PT in garbage time at safety.

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Wallace, Simmons, Muse.

A lot of teams would be okay with having those 3.

I also think Denzel Johnson played well in a limited role.

We're about as deep as you can be across the board on defense. Especially if Wilkins is back.

Nolan Turner is a solid player , not to be discounted by any means .

Feels like Muse should be at LB, but i don't think we have

enough safety depth for that ever to be a real possibility.

You didn't hear? Kelly Bryant is moving on over to the D.

To make way for the new QB.
