They're complacent from being exposed to repeated blowout wins. Let them find themselves in a closely contested game down by 3 late in the fourth Q. Once they sense an uncertain outcome, they wont leave their seats. And these are the casual fans that will be the first to point out fault and bemoan the loss.

Block seating is definitely a double edged sword. It's nice being able to sit with all your friends, but too many people take advantage. I ran the block seating for a group at Clemson, and we stayed through the whole game. However there were a bunch of people that would but their name on the list with no intention of going so others in the group would have extra tickets for visitors. Plus those people NEVER had to wait in line for tickets. Come to think of it I should have been paid for my service.
