Come play Clemson at Death Valley--home and away series.
Will never happen as long as Saban is coaching at Bama.

When has the tired played a top 10 OOC game truly on the road at the opponents stadium?

Schedules are made years in advance so it's impossible to know who's going to be good or not. Off the top of my head Saban has scheduled home and homes with Texas, Wisconsin anc Oklahoma in the near future and they played at Penn State in 2011.

Spare us the Saban 'improved schedule' pretense...

He'll be gone before most, if any of those match-ups occur. Meanwhile, it's STILL three more years before a real road game. As for Penn State, that was set BEFORE he came to Bama. At what point in the past has NM State given anyone a shiver?
Here...dazzle yourself. https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/alabama/
And for the record, mismatches are a rip-off for fans, but until a bunch of entitled 'legacy' programs realize their shining light days are in the rear view mirror, they'll continue to hunker down close to home. Ain't that right, Florida?

"He'll be gone before most, if any of those match-ups occur."
That's an assumption, not a fact.
"As for Penn State, that was set BEFORE he came to Bama. At what point in the past has NM State given anyone a shiver?"
And was set by the same AD who hired Saban. Just an FYI, coaches don't schedule games. I'm not sure what NM State has to do with your arguement but a lot of teams including us schedules those cupcake games.

You know an awful lot about Bama. Judging your pulse, I assume they are your favorite team. Or maybe you’re a Bama-Coot?

I could have told you in 2011 that Duke wouldn’t be ranked in the top 10 in 2019. Just like I can tell you now the coots won’t be ranked in the top ten in 2025

Most every P5 team schedules 8 home and 4 away games
Sep 8, 2019, 5:52 PM

That includes 8 conference games, 2 OOC P5 games, and 2 patsies. Except for Bama, who schedules "Neutral Site" games, like the 60k stadium in Texas instead of at the Big House at 110k. I mean, why make 110k in ticket sales when you can make 60k, right Nick? Oh yeah, and Georgia, who schedules 3 patsies like last year with Austin Peay, Middle Tenn, and UMass...cause you know, it just means more down there.

Neutral site games are waaay more lucrative. Bama was paid $4.5 million to play Duke in Atlanta.
