Then again, they are allowed that lofty status while everyone else has to slug it out come he1l or high water.

If the Committee wanted to make a statement, the ranking would be: Bama, Clemson, Okie Dokie and The O31-0 State......and ND #5..........Things that go bump in the night! lol

who obviously both played in CCGs last night. If Alabama got in last year without winning their conference and would have likely gotten in this year as well, I don't see why Notre Dame would be left out.

Good point, I just looked at their schedule and they don’t have the two cupcake fcs games most of the rest of us do, so being undefeated has some weight to it
