SOONER Fans

Regardless of the smack talk on message boards, I have been around a lot of Sooner fans in my life. I was stationed in Lawton, OK for a while when I was in the Army and when we played in the 1989 Citrus Bowl.

I think the OU and Clemson fan bases are very similar. Very passionate about their football but very hospitable to the opponent's fans, unless you're Nebraska or SCar.

Always enjoy playing Oklahoma and mingling with their fans.

Only coots would be dumb enough to come here and talk like the alleged OU fans did, especially after the massive beat down they received last year to the same team with a way better QB.

Apparently our tombstone from last year perturbed a few OU fans. Found this comment on the OU board. At least some of them have a sense of humor.
