SO an OU fan has already ticked me off

by saying that our offense is terrible and plays against weak defenses, so I did a little digging and came up with this. I looked up the ranking for every defense both teams have played and got this.
Oklahoma
Akron: #17
Tennessee #46
Tulsa #126
West Virginia #52
Texas #106
Kansas State #97
Texas Tech #127
Kansas #128
Iowa State #107
Baylor #56
TCU #63
Oklahoma State #90
And that gave them a grand total, on average, of 84.6. So EVERY GAME they have played this year, they are going up against a defense ranked on average somewhere around 84-85
Now for Clemson

Notre Dame #39
Wake Forest #40

and since I didnt include wofford I added UNC to the list (#100), and that gave us an average of......45.25! So that is 84.6 to 45.25......now who played the worst defenses??? OU has played FIVE TEAMS ranked below #100 and three of them are dang near the bottom!!! its easy to inflate your stats playing against those defenses.

Your stats are a little off because UNC's defense was ranked much higher than 100

you can look at it two ways:
- the Big 12 defenses have bad stats because the offenses are so good, or
- The Big 12 defenses are so bad so that they make the offenses look so good.
(Baylor, Texas Tech and TCU are #1, #2 and #3 in the nation in total offense, while Oklahoma is #7 and Oklahoma State is #17.)
Last year, it was proven to be the latter.
Also, we all know that Big 12 teams always put up style points, which is what Clemson has never done.

...for having to play the measly Tigers, who don't deserve the right to lick a Sooner player's cleats.
I WANT the Sooners to have NO FEAR of playing the Tigers, expecting to get an EASY win and shashay right into the championship game, unscathed, and fit as a fiddle to finally play a REAL football team.

Wouldnt worry too much. It was the same hoopla we heard last year about their vaulted offense. We have basically stopped every MAJOR running threat we have played against the last 16 games (except Cook's 3 or 4 runs), and we will probably do the same thing against Peeeerine. Regardless of giving up 37 (one garbage) to UNC, it wasnt their rushing game that put up the points, it was their vertical passing game that caught us napping a few times. They will not have faced a defense like ours all year long, facing at least 5 teams ranked over 100 in total defense. Will they score? Yeah, probablty a few times, but defensively, they will fall into the same trap they fell into last year EXCEPT they are going against DW, not Cole Stoudt.
I see Clemson winning 51-30, or something like that.
