ACC Football sched for next season coming out at 2PM

The rest of college football can now move on. Has to be a reason (publicity or logistics) but crazy how much longer it takes to get the sched out. It’s not like the news gets a lot of coverage.

ACC Winter Meeting was the reason given in the past, but with the ACC network arrival I believe the conference will have to match other ones and release the 2020 schedule sooner.

Never understood that. With most conferences having their schedule done weeks ago ours should be easy. Can't find the date anymore but the ACC's winter meeting used to be in mid December but our schedule still didn't come out until mid to late January. IIRC one time it came out at the end of January.

SEC matchups are much more consistent from year to year.

Like Tenn.-Bama is 3rd Saturday of October every year. I think that makes their scheduling easier. ACC schools set their own non conference dates so I think that makes it much more difficult to work around and its conference matchups are all over the place from year to year.
