That if Jon Gruden gets hired by TN then Lawrence will be going there due to his family ties. Please just get this guy enrolled!!

Twice the work? Try four or five times the work. Right now he spends a few hours studying whatever he's talking about for the week. Run a QB "camp" for a couple weeks around draft time and ask the same questions to different QBs. He's on contract through 2021 with ESPN, making a supposedly 6.5 million/year with no expectations on the number of wins every year.

OR

Recruit teenagers that have been the center of the universe probably all their football playing lives. Court HS coaches and moms and dads too. Then spend off time traveling to alumni/donor meetings and glad hand all the big time donors. On top of that you get to coach a Div 1 football team most of the year, including at least 6 days a week from late August through December. Plus, if he doesn't succeed at trash can U, he might permanently damage his TV persona. The aura of being the first choice, can't miss hire, for all major coaching jobs goes away if he fails at UT.

He might not want to be the barking dog that actually catches the car.

TL isn’t going anywhere but Clemson and the writer didn’t speak to TL. Secondly JG isn’t going to Tennessee he’s an NFL guy and had no interest before they hired BJ.
