EXPLAIN THIS...how or who computes rankings at 24/7 Sports??

Exactly who is it that we didn't sign to have our class ranking drop 2 places ~AND~ who in the world did USuC sign that made their ranking rise up 8 places from last week?

I just got home at 11 pm & haven't even looked at USC's signees since about noon, but obviously something weird going on based on how things were looking earlier.

Not sure either. Did notice that often recruits get a 3 star

on 247, where as they get ranked 4 on other sites like ESPN. I think at least 5 of our recruits had a higher rating on ESPN.

Don't worry about rankings, as Dabo said "they're only based on potential, not productivity" just think of all the great possibilities this class will bring to Clemson!

You're right...Rankings are like any other statistic, they can be bent to say what you need to them to with a little effort.

Don't know why our Ranking is that low. Its pretty good. But 247 has a lot of South Carolina's Guys ranked higher. I know Richard and Oglesby are 3 stars on 247. Heard from several folks that 247 is best source.

Wow guys, it isn't rocket science. 247 takes ALL of the rankings and combine them to come up with a number. The only problem with that is a 5 star from high school is not an automatic 5 star in college. Take the 5 star class you guys signed a few years ago. It never panned out like it should have and our 3 and 4 star classes usually do. The true measure is when you get a kid on campus....work him...evaluate him during his high school season....then decide. These analyst get tapes ( always highlights ) and place stars based on that. Trust your coaches...not the rating.
