SCAR bowl question

Much has been said by the Columbia media regarding SCAR winning 9 games last year. The national media however termed them "hollow victories" since none were against a top 25 team--cupcakes if you will. Hopefully, they lose to TAMU, UF and us. At best, they would be 8-4 again. I am praying that this hurricane Florence is taken by God into the North Atlantic where it can harm no one. If however, it hits our beautiful state and the SCAR game with Marshall is cancelled, then, their record would be 7-4 at best. (Hopefully, worse with perhaps a loss to another "elite" SEC East team). My question: Will a 7-4 SCAR team filled with "hollow victories" be good enough to pass the eye test for the Outback Bowl, or will it be Birmingham again?

to Texas A & M and Clemson so best case scenario for them now is to finish 9 - 3.

However, they'll have their hands full with teams like Ole Miss, Kentucky, Vandy, Missouri, Tennessee and Florida and it's highly unlikely they win all six of those games.

Even with a relatively soft schedule, 7 or 8 wins is the ceiling for them which won't get them in the Outback Bowl. Maybe the Belk or Music City Bowl.

Ole Miss and Kentucky will beat them and an upset by one of the others. At least 5 losses.
