SCAR QB versus Clemson

Has anybody rewatched the SCAR game and tracked the #### poor performance by the best QB in the SEC? Perfect combination of QB that stinks and coach who doesn't realize this.
Final stats: 7-17 for 41 yards, 1 interception and 2 sacks. - Of the 7 completions, 5 were at or behind line of scrimmage and 1 was thrown directly to a Tiger DB. - Only 1 solid 'downfield' throw out of the 7 completions. QBR of 4.9
*************************
Order of plays by Bentknee: 1. Threw ball 5yd out of bounds (is he that bad?) 2. Ball batted down (is he too short?) 3. Skittish feet. Threw ball high. Tipped and should have been intercepted 4. Interception. Waited too long and overthrew briefly open TE 5. Learned to hand it off (1yd gain) 6. COMPLETION!!! On 1yd shovel pass in backfield (I could have made that 'throw') 7a. Presnap, makes cute teenager heart sign with his hands. Adorable. Likely a Bieber fan. 7b. Love didn't help. Threw ball 5yd over receiver and out of bounds. At this point he is 1-6 with an interception ***Clemson series ... Mike Williams plays piggy back into the endzone*** 8. After a run, has his 2nd completion on a quick screen to WR behind line of scrimmage that totals 3yds. Another throw I could have made 9. Missed wide open receiver on slant route. Next play was fake punt running into own man
Current Stats: 2-8 with 1 interception. Both completions were behind the line of scrimmage and totaled 4 yards. Clemson winning 21-0
10. After a run, next pass is tipped and almost intercepted. Would have been behind receiver anyway 11. Boulware sack attack!
First quarter stats: 2-9 for 4 yards with 1 interception, 1 sack.
12. Completion. 13yd pass that should have been intercepted. WR stole it from our DB. 13. Overthrew WR by 10yds this time. His arm must be too strong
Next drive: 14. Ball batted backwards into endzone 15. Completed another pass behind line of scrimmage. Totals 0yds 16. Completed screen pass for 15yds 17. Sacked by Big Dex
Current stats: 5-14 for 32 yards, 1 interception and 2 sacks. Of the 5 completions, 4 were behind the line of scrimmage and 1 was thrown directly to a Tiger DB.
18. Bentley heating up now. 6yd completion to TE. 19. Helped on next play by Tigers pass interference 20. Scrambled for 3 yards. He's even bad at sliding. Just fell to his knees instead and almost decapitated 21. Completed pass at line of scrimmage that went for 3 yards. Should have been sacked. 22. Feeling pressure and overthrew WR by 15yds 23. After punt, walks to locker room early hanging head the whole way.
Misses Tigers go 80 yards in 39 seconds to score another touchdown. Good guys lead 35-0 at halftime. Bentley never seen on field again.
He was very successful and running back and forth to the sideline each play, then sitting on his butt there in the 2nd half.

Jackie spent more time running to the sidelines thinking we gonna steal their signals than anything else.

...and yet when his backup played the 2nd half, the running to the sideline thing stops...
Does Jake just not understand the signals or did they no longer care?

That's a lot of work to ignore the glaring weakness that is our offensive line.

You misspelled "entire team"...or did you miss where 56 points were scored yet the dogs were called off?

Yeah unfortunately the only two positions we are actually good at were hampered the offensive line.

Hmm. So what you're saying is your offensive linemen do the WBB players' hair & clean your horse stables? Interesting

Watson it's cute you still pretend you're running backs are good. Look at what they did against the only defenses you played with a pulse

I suspect it could be worse this year!

You have an above average quarterback, two good running backs, one good wide receiver and two good tight ends unless your freshman are playmakers. Your offensive line is an unknown because they are practicing against a TERRIBLE defense line, in fact a terrible defense generally outside Moore. I suspect that you will be stuck running the ball to kill clock and keep that porous defense off the field and Bentley will be reduced to quick screens and handoffs which any QB could do.

What are you basing those "good positions" on...the teams you beat that overall had a 26-49 record, or your losses against teams that overall ended with a 63-30 record??

Yes...your offensive line is a problem but your the rest of your team, including your QB, ain't nothing much to write home about either.

He thought it was bad last year?

Let's see what he thinks this year when he faces arguably the most talented defense we've ever put on the field.
