Clemson won 7 out of 10....and all were played in cootville. Hope that helps.

including two four-bomb stretches, but that's ancient history, since most coot "fans" have only been "fans" for only 4 years.

I wish the history of the rivalry was reversed. History is nice to have to fall back on, but the present is all that matters.
The past four years won't make me feel any better if we lose tomorrow.

We've owned you since you started a football program. One 4 win streak does not make a rivalry. We've had 7 4 win streaks. This just happens to be the best 4 years you've ever had.
It's still not a rivalry.

That's such a lazy assessment.
The truth is the future looks good for both schools, and Clemson isn't getting recruits because of their history; I'm pretty sure of that.

Hate to break this to you, but if you don't want to count history, four in a row doesn't matter, either. After all, that is in the past, thus history.

the past four years is history that's fine, but I think you know better. Sure, eventually, it won't but the past four years has changed the perception of the rivalry and the current state of the programs.

just as clever as only using the last 4 years as history? I think you know better.
You are correct, eventually it won't be the past 4 years. Coots will still have a losing record against Clemson in 10 years.
Do you ignore your earlier years in your lifetime? Or do you just remember the last 4 years?
The present is today. The future is not here yet. You can choose what you do today and in the future. BUT, you can't do a #### thing about what has happened. Can't change it, can't erase it....you can only deal with.
So, DEAL with it!!

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its like doing magic tricks for a bunch of 4 year olds. It takes so little effort befuddle chicken fans.
The reason you and your feathered buddies don't want the last 4 years to be considered "history" is obvious even to Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.

We are dealing with it
Nov 29, 2013, 3:24 PM

By winning now, if it didn't bother y'all so much for us to be winning you wouldn't be bringing up times of y'all winning. Simple as that. You don't hear Georgia tech saying they own y'all do you? Even if they do have a higher winning percentage against y'all than you do us.

If Clemson had not been winning against you coots, then there would be no argument. The OP was about the series, not now.
But since you want to bring up other team's winning %...should I mention Duke, New Mexico State, Davidson, and I could go on.
And you are the one that brought up %, Clemson has losing % against 13 teams...coots 28. But we sure appreciate you coots not letting us have 14.

refuse to acknowledge is that SC football appears to be heading forward and as much as you say it, things won't be like they used to be in the rivalry.
I don't come here to start ****, but when Clemson fans refuse to face reality, I feel the need to respond. Regardless of what you think, the nation views Clemson and SC as equal programs at this point in time.
I think Clemson is building a great program under Dabo, but some of you sincerely feel it is because of Clemson's history.

Reality is that you are changing the subject of the OP. The post was about who dominates the series. The numbers don't lie. Reality is a real thing or fact.
I don't think you will find many posts on this board that says the coots are not an improved football team. That is a reality.
I don't think you will find any posts that Dabo is building a great program because of history. Clemson fans realize that the football program had been on a downhill slide in the past. Most Clemson fans realize that Dabo is not building this program because history but because of what DABO is doing.
The programs possibly could be considered equal at this time, BUT you are trying to change the subjuct to suit your agenda and not sticking with the OP.
So, little feathered hypocrite, can you accept reality and see that the OP was correct in his message?

Try to survive the Steve spurrier era. A big TV in the stadium doesn't change the fact that Columbia is a crappy place to live. I know I lived there. I could care less about history I want to beat you this year. We have a very good chance to do it too.
