Green says no leader but Clemson among his top schools

The nation’s No. 6 running back, Derrick Green, told TigerNet on Monday night he was misquoted by a website that said Clemson was his leader, but he does have the Tigers as one of his top schools. Full Story »

Excellent fit

He's a lot like James Davis in that he'll get you what they give you + 2. He's got some wheels and some high football IQ. Unfortunately for Mr. Davis, Green could run in our current offense. This young man could really tear it up in big chunks with the LBs playing soft out of fear of our WRs burning it across the middle. This is exactly the kind of back Morris needs to put us over the top. Honestly, this could be a National Championship piece to our puzzle. We're obviously very close. Green could push us over the top. He's that good.

Sorry, but tigerillustrated is legit. They projected Tommy Bowden being fired 3 days before it happened. If they reported a recruit naming a favorite, I believe it. Their sources are as good as you can get. That's why I have a membership to rivals instead of tigernet........don't like rumors.

Right now, I really don’t have one leader,” he said. “I feel like I was misquoted by a website. To me, pretty much every school is equal right now. Clemson is one of my top schools, right there at the top, but I don’t have one leader.”

Don't drink the koolaid brother. If a kid is says he was misquoted by a website, take his word for it not the misquoted website.

HokieHaven said "Clemson right now" when asked who

leads, not Tiger Illustrated. TI just linked to Hokie Haven.

This was after his visit to VT.

At first when i was watching this guys combine highlights i thought this kid was an athletic and short defensive tackle. its funny that tnet has his 40 as 4.37 but in his combine vid he runs a 4.64 alot of over exagerrated 40s out there. Not too sure im buying this kids hype tbh he plays in virginia, hows the competition up there at the hs level?(being serious) also he gets taken down by one defender too often for me to think he will be a bruiser at the collegiate level.

Mr. Green - Come on Down!!!

Apr 24, 2012, 8:48 AM

If someone on this site was saying you were coming here - it was because we are really excited to have you here.

If you want the tradition of a big back school - look no further. We may have gotten away from it lately, but there isn't more tradition in doing it than Clemson University.

You would completely fit into what we are doing. With a pounding back and the wide outs flying all over, who would stand a chance.

Our program is on the way back to the top. We have a NC. Just won the ACC championship, with what looks to be a team that could repeat.

Come on Down, Mr. Green. What more could you ask for?
