Mrs fluff just informed me that her parents are giving

Dec 16, 2018, 1:04 PM

Us a vacuum cleaner for Christmas.

It’s a pricey dyson replacing our perfectly operational pricey dyson

When I asked why the response is that ours is too heavy and doesn’t get used.

I asked her how her parents found a vacuum that runs itself. She wasn’t amused.

Apparently this newer lightweight cord free version is going to motivate the cleaning.

I ain’t expecting much after February, but we shall see.

We have one and all I can think is how I want to upgrade to the one that empties itself.

Ring ends cleaning. Cooking. And a lot of other stuff.

Enjoy your new vacuum. It's lighter and I'm sure you'll like using it more.

Dec 16, 2018, 4:07 PM

Do you clean for the cleaning lady?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

A little pick up - mostly kids stuff

Dec 16, 2018, 8:42 PM

Our lady cleans, dusts, etc. the whole house in 4 hours for $70. I would pay $100.

If she quits let me know.

Dec 16, 2018, 9:00 PM

I'd clean a house for 100 bucks. Heck, I've done a lot more disgusting things for a lot less.

We had the cordless Dyson for about 1 year....

Dec 17, 2018, 8:58 AM

was not a fan. We have a dog and it was constantly getting jammed with hair. Also had to run it on the "high" setting to be effective and fully charged, it only lasted about 15 minutes on that setting.

On the plus side, it was very light and had a lot of attachments, so it worked well on furniture, car, etc...

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The last vacuum we had sucked.

Dec 17, 2018, 9:04 AM

just not good enough.
