And it's still true that wearing a mask doesn't protect you from getting corona virus. It reduces the spread of corona virus by people who have it.

#1. They're literally saying the situation is exactly the same today as it was a month ago. How is this news? But it seems to have had the intended effect of misleading people in this thread.
#2. The definition of "mask" is an important distinction because the WHO guidelines are specifically referring to medical masks while the CDC's recommendation refers to any face covering. And that's because the WHO guidelines are about preventing contracting the virus whereas the CDC is referring to preventing the spread of the virus.
Here's some news from early April which will probably comes as a surprise to people who get their news from sites like Fox.
