Revisionist History

Jan 2, 2018, 12:37 AM

The revisionists on ESPN disgust me. "It took Deshaun Watson and a miracle with one second left for Clemson to win last year." The reality was we ran a play from just off the goal line with a great quarterback with clock management skills so if that pass had fallen incomplete we still would have had one or two seconds to kick a game tying field goal (giving us an OT shot to win). Yes, different year, different QB, different team; but please don't act like our win last year was a fluke win on a Hail Mary or some other random ### play.

Great season. Over performed. No one expected us to be here. No reason for anyone to hang their head.

Go Tigers! All In all the time.

I don't see the problem. Beating Bama is a hard thing to do. Two years ago Watson played out of his mind and we still lost the game. Last season he played out of his mind once again and we still needed a touchdown with 2 seconds left to win it. I don't see that as a knock against us, but rather a compliment to how special of a run Bama has been on.

Argee ...... that was not a miracle .....nor was putting up over 500 yards against them. It was a miracle that we did not beat them worse.
