All four games at home.
OOC record: 2-2.
Doesn't get much tougher than that!

They split against UTEP, Toledo, Texas Tech, and UT-Martin and still won 7 games in the regular season..hmmmm
All they did was beat the team with the 125th ranked defense in the country in a bowl game that about 17 people watched. Congratulations!

....speaks volumes about just how TOUGH it is the play in the SEC. Not very.
He uses the conference as a smoke-screen for his poor coaching.
I'm not sure which was THE BEST CONFERENCE this year, but I'm certain that it wasn't the SEC. I don't think they were the worst Power 5 conference, but you can make that argument. At this point (I don't give a whole lot of credence to bowl season games outside of the NC) I'd rank the conferences like this:
PAC 12 (Stanford + quality depth/teams throughout)
ACC (top heavy, with a big middle class before dropping off at the bottom 3)
SEC (Alabama, EAST division was garbage, WEST was better but not as good/deep as predicted.)
BIG XII (Quality teams at the top, bad defenses everywhere, bottom half of league was terrible)
BIG (OSU, Mich St., Mich., IOWA, then absolute garbage on par with the likes of Wake, Vandy, etc..).

Exactly. He has a poor coaching record. Job security is enhanced in his mind if the Razorback faithful drink the Kool-aid he is dispensing.

Ask them who the 2nd best team in the conference is.
Ole Miss? Lost to Memphis
Arkansas? Lost to Toledo
Florida? they couldn't score in a wimmins prison
UGA? Needed overtime to beat Georgia Southern.
It's Alabama and then the slightly better than mediocre 6 and the garbage 7.

All of the P5's are about the same

All of them have a really good, supremely talented team to the rest
Clemson
Alabama
Ohio State
Stanford
Okla..well, maybe not the Big 12
All of them have a couple of good teams that will beat the majority of their opponents each year
Florida State, Virginia Tech (down year this year, but normally a solid club)
LSU, Georgia(remains to be seen what happens next year)
Michigan State, Michigan
Oregon, USC
TCU, Oklahoma State
All of them have a group of 2-3 teams that are always at the bottom for a myriad of reasons
Wake Forest, Virginia, Boston College
Coots, Vanderbilt, Kentucky
Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota
Oregon State, Colorado
Kansas, Iowa State
And the rest of the teams are almost all interchangeable with each other

Exactly. What's the word Tommy Bowden liked to use? Ah yes, "parity".
You can actually make a pretty good argument for any conference being the best or worst this season.
