Regardless of the OBS staying or going, the following is true

Nov 8, 2014, 7:44 AM

There was a day when Steve Spurrier defined college football. That day is long gone. Instead, now ole Steve is an embittered old man, willing to try and make up the ground his football team can’t cover by the wagging of his tongue. Spurrier is like that drunk uncle we all have. Sitting in the corner, drink in hand, it doesn’t take long for the one liners to start flying. But in the end, he’s still just an ole drunk.

Let me say a couple of things in Ball Sack's defense. I remember him in College and with SF in the NFL I think it was...I liked his Tampa Bay Bandits football team in the USFL...the offense was cutting edge. We went 10-1 one year and Ball Sacks Blue Devils beat us and it was really frustrating. I got to where he made me sick at Florida, but did pull for the old prick against Bobby Bowden....these days and times, he is not successful and needs to get out...after Sack parted with the Redskins he should have retired and I bet he has regretted a thousand times not going back to Gainesville to go through the motions of an interview to get the Gator job back....he would have been more successful there than he is down in Cluckerville. The only reason he went to USuC was the membership to Augusta national, it did not have squat to do with Holtz...I think he leaves, they at best will be 6-6 and he is searching for an excuse to leave to save face

Don't think he has a membership to Augusta.

BTW, Spurrier was the last coach U of Coot could offer

an Augusta membership. The man behind the membership was Augusta Chairman Hootie Johnson ( bigtime Coot ) who retired in 2006. His replacement and current chair is Billy Payne, a UGA alum.
