It was great being with the Lot 4 crowd again for one last time this season. We did have a few coots show up. One of them was more of a loud mouth than the others and he thought he'd be cute and to use former #37s tire as a urinal. He quickly found out nobody was amused. The carolina class showed up again as I made my way to the stadium. This coot knocker was so hammered he was foamed up at the mouth screaming about Baton Rouge being real Death Valley while he stumbled around in front of the west end zone. We made our way to our seats while shaking our heads at the display. Once I got to my seat in the upper deck I met a very generous man named Tim who was there with his three sons. The first time we spoke was to excuse him to get threw the aisle to get to the concession stands and he asked if I wanted anything. I thought he was kidding around and I said sure bottle of water. To my surprise he came back and handed me a bottle. We then started speaking and cheering with each other the whole game. Turned out two of his sons had autism. I started high giving the son sitting closest to me. I could tell he was reserved and shy but he would hold his hand out and I would gently high five him. Later during the game he opened up more and held his hand up first ready for a high five. It was an honor meeting Tim and his family and being able to share yesterday with them. We only had a few coots around us and they jaw wagged the entire first quarter but then they sat down and were quiet. They left at the end of the third. Typical. My friends were ready to go with 5:00 left on the clock and said "we got this".. I said we waited a long 5 years for this. I'm staying until the clock hits zero's. Sang the Alma Mater with arms embraced on Tim on my right. We then made our way back to lot 4 to celebrate a couple hours while letting traffic die down. It was a great win, celebrated with great friends and family. Clemson Nation is second to none! Go Tigers!
