Recruiting Numbers

Found the data re number of recruits interesting. For the years 2015 - 2018 Clemson had a total of 78 recruits - same number as Duke...... Ohio State had 98, Alabama 101, and Georgia 104. But South Carolina had a whopping 106 --- What happened to all of the excess recruits - since they can only carry 85 ?!?

If people were as good as their obituary - and products were as good as advertised - this would truly be a wonderful world !!

Well Bama and UGA at least have the excuse that they’re sending a lot of guys to the league, Muschamp is just processing guys out that he misevaluated

South Carolina seems to have a lot of signees every year that can't qualify to go to college. It appears Clemson may do a better job of only offering/signing kids that can actually get into college. That also is one reason why South Carolina always tends to rank fairly well in recruiting rankings but those decent signing classes often don't turn into better results on the field.

Scar seems to go after the Juco guys. Just like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound. Glad to have Dabo not going that route

they essentially cut players after spring training, to make the numbers work for the new class of freshmen.
