We have a good amount of talent in SC that for some reason goes to teams that formerly were big time national powers. Everette Golson from Myrtle Beach who also went to Notre Dame last year. I've not heard anything about him since and he supposedly is a very good b-ball player too.

How about Junior Hemingway who went to Michigan I believe the same year Rich Rod took over. Then Michigan becomes the laughing stock of NCAA DI football when App State beat them.

I don't understand why a lot of our in state talent decides on these formerly great teams. One would think they would prefer to go to the ACC/SEC. I don't even think these kids today are old enough to remember when Notre Dame or Michigan were powerhouses. I personally don't think either team will ever be what they used to be.
I guess its like the previous poster stated, they are afraid they will sit the bench for a year or two because they just are not good enough. If a player can make an impact for either Clemson or USC over a period of 2-3+ years they will definitely get a good shot at the NFL.

At the same time it still seems that a heavy proportion of ESPN and sports writers/casters have links to the Big 10 so I guess the kids think they are going to get more exposure which is true. But their is a difference between exposure and getting exposed by SEC/ACC players burning them for TDs left and right.

It looks like the barber slipped and took off half his eyebrow. Poor kid, I hope the cut was free.
