He is a great prospect, and I am sure there are many programs that would love to have him. He has said many times he is Tiger all the way, and I believe him. I wouldn't want anybody who is not wanted by other big named programs.

Duh...Why do you think BOTH Chad and Dabo flew to NY...to freeze their Tiger tails off?
A lot of programs/recruiters are out there trying to test the strength of commitments...including us I hope. Maybe now that we have Venables we can get some good ones..it's been awhile.

I agreed with everything else you said besides that. What are you talking about? We continue to have very strong recruiting classes (Top 10 so far for this upcoming class).
Have you heard of a guy they call Sammy Watkins?

that can step in immediately and make an impact. I'm thinking Blanks may be able to step in next year. Just from what I've seen on film and heard. Of course it's hard as a DB.

I was just saying that it has been awhile since we've had any commitments. Before Christmas, right? Meanwhile, we keep getting exposed to press conferences where Clemson ends up the bridesmaid, and we got nobody new from either of the big all star games. Rest assured, I'm not dumping on what we have...it was just kind of a "what have 'ya done for me lately" moan...that's all.

No "duh" needed. I certainly get the reason Dabo and Chad went. All our recruits need to be reinforced that we want them and that they are needed. Take nothing for granted.
