Recent Conference Power Rankings...Hangover Effect?

Seems to me that Clemson is not getting the props it deserves from much of the local and national media ie. SN power rankings due to the hangover effect from the bowl.

Based upon what we have seen JUST IN WEEK 1, any rational person would put Clemson at least number 2 in the conference power rankings or possibly number 1. I cant blame the media for this as they are reluctant to get behind a team that can somehow beat VaTech twice and allow 70 pts in its next game.

Keep winning and the hangover goes away! btw... I like us not getting the props. It should motivate our players to play harder!

Right now we've done little to earn respect. You've heard all the talk about AU's new OC and DC. It everyone's mind they are rebuilding, indoctrinated adjusting to their new systems. Everyone is still hung over from our OB outing last year too. We'll get there.
