Feaster: I have Heisman dreams of my own

Tavien Feaster was an interested observer of last week’s Heisman Trophy ceremonies and was disappointed that Deshaun Watson didn’t leave New York as the winner. Hard to imagine the offense not being better unless Leggett leaves and none of the young TE emerges.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We're extremely deep at TE. Not worried at all.

The two will be a two headed monster for the offense in a couple of years.

As I've said all along, even though my sources have told me

Dec 16, 2015, 2:03 PM

Muschamp is going after Feaster, he still wants to be a Clemson Tiger. I hesitate to call someone a lock, but he's pretty close.

I agree. I think he is flattered at all the attention he's getting from any Power 5 school, SC included, but he is telling them "thanks but no thanks." He's ALL-IN.

Another polite, calm, well spoken, thoughtful young man. Obvious that he has been raised right. I look forward to seeing him in orange.

With all his success, his highest salary was $25,000 a year. The president of the university, Dr. R. F. Poole, feared that professors who earned less would be upset. "He called me up and said that he didn't want me to tell anybody what I made," Howard once said. "I said: 'Doc, you don't have to worry. I'm as ashamed as you are of what you pay me.' " - Frank Howard Obituary, New York Times, 01/27/1996

COULD IT BE?! TWO Heisman winners from CU in 3 year span?!

Dec 16, 2015, 5:21 PM

Hell, I don't see why NOT!!!

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

Just give him the ball 40+ times a game

Dec 16, 2015, 5:37 PM

Apparently that's all it takes to win the Heisman these days.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Tavien - I am VERY impressed with

Dec 16, 2015, 5:38 PM

how knowledgeable and well spoken you are in front of the camera! I know I certainly wouldn't have communicated nearly as well when I was at your young age. Keep up the wonderful discipline, hard work balanced with fun and you will do amazing things in your life, young man!! I can't wait to watch you carry the rock at Clemson and represent our great University!! The sky is the limit!

Will CJ let Feaster wear 28 with a "Spiller 28" patch?
