I don't recall players like Sammy Watkins and Jadeveon Clowney having just 2 seconds of fame only to sit the bench and not be heard from their Freshman year!!! Look at the Freshman running back Gurley from UGA this year that was split between coming to us or them. It only took an offseason arrest to give him an opportunity to shine! Face it football has become a year round sport from little league on up and thus has Freshmen in college able to step in and make a splash right away and also is what has so many NFL rookies ready to play once they enter the league!

I definitely agree, MOST do need time to develop NOT ALL, but recruiting and signing good players out of highschool regardless if they will start their Freshman year or come in to your system from Juco for 1 season and help win a national championship (Cam Newtwon) it's still exciting for most fans who don't only follow the season from just August to January. Recruting is the first and most important start to building a great and hopefully an elite program!

I just do not get into all the hype. These are 17 yo kids in high school. Talk to me when you have made a tackle or caught a pass at the collegiate level.

I will see them all at the Spring Game I hope.

I will agree with that too. These old boys not quite young men who make rap videos and huge press conferences about where they are going to play college at and act like they are the single reason why the college they choose will win multiple championships are extremely annoying!!! I look more forward to players like Boulware whose hype comes from others because of his production on the field. Someone who doesn't self promote because he knows doing the right things off the field will have him ready to shine when his time comes on the field! I believe a lot of us would love to put duct tape over the mouths of some of these guys and just tell them to shut up and play football!
