You do not owe me an excuse why you were not there. Same holds true for you, nobody owes you an reason.
I started going to games back in 73 while a student. I had a lot of fun at the games I went to. I was at games when we went 2-9 and 3-6-2. I have been there for the bandwagon times and the non bandwagon times.
I was at the Notre Dame game and I was at the Ga Tech game. There were several friends of mine who did not make the game for several reasons. They do not owe you an excuse or reason either.
I have enjoyed the games I went to and talk about several of them with friends today. If they did not go, it was their loss.
You are most likely a great Tiger Fan and supporter, and I appreciate that.

Well said! I really don't understand this year why so many threads about "Students not returning after halftime" to, "Why is the Hill not filled up?" (Even though it's raining so a wet Hill not so much fun to be on?Common sense really) And the people complaining are the ones sitting in a recliner,in their nice climate controlled living room. I just don't get it and wonder if they are really Clemson fans or just trolling. But either way +1 for your response to the op.Lot nicer than I am.

Also, up until the fairly recent past, for lots of games if you wanted to be sure you could watch them you had to be there in person. And even if the game was on TV it was in standard definition and it was hard to see what was going on sometimes. Today every game is televised in HD with tons of replay options, etc. While I live so far away that going isn't really practical, frankly I kind of prefer watching on TV because I can pay much more attention to the game itself, although I miss out on the spectacle of attending in person. Given that TV viewing is so good these days, I think its pretty impressive that we continue to have such great turnout. That's a testament to our fans and the student body.

I have just never seen the hill that sparse before and it was pretty surprising to see o the broadcast

Any idea why it was one sided (looked like everyone missed their mid-day V8 with the lean from the bottom left to the upper middle)? Had the look like there was a draining problem in that area.
