He has 3 daughters but if he had a son who could play college football he said he would hope he could play at Clemson for CDS. He said Dabo cares more about his players than any coach in the country.

to play for Dabo? c'mon dude, we're much better than that... and it's not hard to believe that a player might have a better relationship with Lincoln Riley, Davis Shaw or Kirby Smart than he does with Dabo... c'mon dude... we love Dabo for what he stands for and all but a 17-18 year old just might be more comfortable being less than 3 hours away from home, or have an educational goal that is better served at another institution... there are valid reasons for not choosing Clemson and they and we will be just fine...

Kannell back on the radio....I thought he was one of the rare few on ESPN radio who actually gave thoughtful, considered opinions on sports--especially college football.
