Real LSU fans ....

I hope everyone here realizes that neither fan base is properly represented by internet message boards...

My experience with LSU fans in person - they have always been good folks ...

Living in Houston I’ve met a few....

Likewise Clemson people are good people...

The people from both fan bases that resort to personal attacks - and crude attacks - are a minority...

A minority drawn to anonymous formats like this where they can be as nasty as possible without likely repercussions....

Don’t be drawn into it

To be clear -I’m not talking about normal back and forth...that’s what a message board is for - I’m talking about the kind of garbage that would likely get you a punch in the mouth if you said it in person...

Hence the reason internet tough guys (of all persuasions) spout it off here and not their local sports bar...

You’re correct I did not-
I can only speak to the fans I’ve met in and around town hear in Houston...given our proximity to Louisiana there are a lot of them...

I count one of them a good friend...
He’s only ever spoken well of Clemson and actually pulled for us to beat Alabama (every time we’ve played them)...

Just to be clear, the world has always had these cowardly kinds of people, but now that have an outlet where they can speak in their cowardly fashion and have no repercussions.

I have a Bud in Houston who says you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a coupld of LSU fans and an Aggie or two. UH has been prpetty good recently but don't sem to getthe following.

UH is kind of a commuter school...
It seems to not foster the level of interest of other schools...
People are less attached when they leave campus every day...

Especially our fans hjeading to NO. Don't prejudge those folks by the internets. There are going to be plenty of great Tiger fans of all colors down there. Y'all all enjoy N'awlins.
