good and their team is much better. I respect their coach more than NCSU coach. I think Cuse kids will play hard for Dino....I do not see this one as a blow out...I hope so but little nervous...

NCSU is better than Syracuse
I know you like to think NCSU isn't that good, but honestly they are good. they are at least top 25 good. They played awful football in charlotte against the coots which a lot of that has to do with discipline and that is something DD has had a problem with at NCSU since he's been there.
We are better than NCSU and should beat them, but they will fight hard and stay in the game. plus Carter Finley is a weird place. Every game I've been to there has been a hard fought game.
loss in 2011 was brutal and the fans around me were freakin A-holes
2013 we played terrible and I was happy to escape with a win
2015 was a shootout and that was something I wasn't expecting at all. JaSam is still there and Hines is still electric in the return game.
This will be a tough game no matter how much better we are on paper.

100% agree
Think it comes down to the same with all big road games, sustain their early rush, don't make any big mistakes/turnovers...settle in and we should be alright.
They will give us their best shot, not only because we're National Champs, they almost beat us last year, etc etc...but the winner will likely win the Atlantic. It's shaping up to be our biggest game of the season.

Also if State beats ND they may even be a top 15 team by the time we play them so they will be out to prove they belong. I hope the fact that we have already played two top 15 teams on the road will be to our advantage. I remember Carlos telling me last year that out of all the teams he played against Nc State seem to always have an offensive line that gave us problems and that we struggled against stopping them on O.

ND played UGA tight and probably should have won. and they blew out UNC (yea I know UNC is down) but still they blew them out at Keenan.
If ND can establish the run early then ND could win that game. ND has a pretty good Defense this season also.
Dave D is also in contract negotiations this week (poor timing in my opinion) so they will prb ish the bed this week at Pitt

ND also plays USC the weekend before, which is their biggest rival and will be a huge game...a letdown game the following weekend against NCSU is certainly in the cards and to the wolf pack's advantage.

They're already in the top 20 and are playing at Pitt, so you would assume they'd move up a spot or two with a solid win there, depending on what the teams ahead of them do.

Finley is no bad QB. Number 9 can play for my team any day he wants to transfer. Hyatt will have his hands full with Chubb I assure you. I'll take a one point win and stay home.

They played very hard against us in 2015. Their place is not an easy to play in because of all of the noise bouncing back off of the roof. They will pull every trick out of the hat to confuse us; however I do believe that Dabo and Coach V will have us ready to play.

a baller. I don't understand why the point-spread is so large. On CBS Sportsline all 7 "experts picked Clemson to win (hope they are right about that), but only one of the 7 picked Clemson to cover the spread.
If our offense plays like they did vs Boston College and Wake, it may not matter how good our defense is.
