Final CFP Ranking

I know I looked at things through orange color glasses at times. But he is my prediction on the final CFP Ranking.
1. Clemson 2. Auburn 3. Oklahoma 4. Wisconsin
I believe Auburn will beat Bama at home and go on to beat Georgia again
I believe that Oklahoma and Wisconsin will win out.
Yes we have usc left, they have had a better than expected year so far. But I do not believe they have played a defense like they will see from Clemson. Miami will look to stop us from running, like they did to ND. So we will have to get the passing game going, especially the deep passes ( more than 15 yards), so they cannot stack the box against the run. I believe KB can and will do that. It will help the game s in Charlotte. Miami barely travels inside their home city, much less this far away.

Most likely scenario to me is...
We win out. Auburn wins out. OU wins out. Wisconsin loses to either Michigan or Ohio state.
Who do we play in NOLA?

You bring up a very good point TU.
Wisconsin loses, which they have not been tested, wow, that really would open it up.

Yes, you are 100 percent correct, a Wisconsin loss, really changes who the 4th might be.

Don't want to play in Nola vs an SEC team

That would be no advantage for being the number 1 or 2 team. I could see this happening...
1) Clemson 2) Wisconsin 3) Oklahoma 4) UGA/Auburn

In that event we would be sent to Pasadena instead.

Auburn over Bama?

I’m with you that Auburn has a great chance of knocking them off, but idk if I’m ready to go ahead and call it. How confident are you on that?

I really don't think so.

We would be playing (and beating) a good South Carolina team on the road and then Miami (likely #2 or 3), who we have yet to play yet.
Anyone Oklahoma plays in their championship game is going to be a likely ranked 8-15 team they've already beaten in the regular season, so unless they show some sort of improved defensive dominance or something, i doubt that the committee would be overly impressed with that sort of win. They will be very impressed if we beat Miami.

You could make the argument they should be ranked ahead of us now.
If we both win out... (Rankings based on current CFP Rankings) Oklahoma will have beaten #9 Ohio State #12 TCU #13 Oklahoma State #12/#13 TCU/OkSt in the championship game
Clemson will have beaten #3 Miami #6 Auburn #19 NC State
WVU and VT are comparable (both on the fringe of the top 25).
Their loss is better than ours (ISU is just outside of the top 25 with some big wins). It doesn't seem like the committee is putting too much importance on who you lose to, and maybe giving us a break with the KB injury.
It will come down to how our opponents finish the year.
Auburn plays Bama (and UGA again if they beat Bama) - Chance to move up if they win out, or down if they lose NC State winning out would help us, but I wouldn't be shocked to see them lose to Wake and/or UNC
Ohio St finishes with Michigan and Wisconsin - Chance to move up if they win out, or down if they lose TCU finishes with TTU and Baylor OSU finishes with K-State and Kansas
We all know SC is not good, but their record will help us (another win against a +.500 team)...
All in all, pretty much a toss-up imo
