The Clemsoning Debate Analyzed
Oct 22, 2013, 6:53 AM
|
|
A few weeks ago we looked into whether the term Clemsoning was a legit term by looking into both Bowden's time and Dabo's time. We thought we had a decent answer, but the FSU game brought the concept back in full force.
So, we took another look, updated our numbers, and tried to see where Clemson fit with other teams when it comes to Clemsoning.

It's no longer Clemsoning ...after Coach's little national tirade on the term Clemsoning that term is obsolete...the new term is Daboing...as in geez ..how much more embarrassing can this get...Awww it's no big deal ...they just pulled a Dabo

when you lost to a vastly inferior opponent. Daboing is getting blown out by a significant margin by a ranked team. Slight difference, same feeling.....

True, Clemsoning is stupid and dead. We don't lay eggs to against garbage teams. Now we beat great teams and then sometimes lose by a huge margin to great teams.

I think this is pretty accurate, and now I'm a little confused as to which I prefer.
Is it possible to have them both?

The 2011 NCSU loss will never leave me

I was at that game. It was a terrible performance much like the FSU game, the only difference was NCSU had lesser athletes than Clemson and therefore did not score as many points as FSU just did. Boy I am glad I did not go the FSU game.

Clemsoning

For example, if clemson had beat FSU and then lose to Maryland that would be clemsoning. I think Daboing is fitting for the FUS game. We will bounce back. Go tigers!

How about if you lose to an unranked team

On the same day UGA loses and opens the door to the SEC East?
What would that be called?
