Imagine being Etienne right now

You come back for a better draft stock and now you end up getting only half a season to show your stuff if they end up letting that fly even and you missed out on millions you would've made this year. Having one bad game in a 1/2 season now could make a much bigger impact. I really feel for him and others who chose to come back and think that this moving forward could be a reason more kids decide to leave after year 3.

So now he knows he needs to rush for 300 yds a game. On less than 30 carries. He can do it.

Isn't there also a chance he could improve his stock just by

default of the RB class being worse this year.
He's a super hot name, and people are gonna take a chance on him based on his last 3 years than most of these other guys.
And he gets to save his legs with short season while also improving his stock.

I’ll bite...,
I think ETN was ranked as the 5th or 6th best back if he came out out last year, a low 2nd or high 3rd round, if memory serves me.
Assuming they play a shortened season or no season at all this year - this could be a great thing for Etienne.
Without much or any film to work with this season, NFL scouts will have to rely on film from the last two years and ETN will likely be viewed as the #1 or 2 back in the draft.
Playing this season could hurt ETN if he doesn’t maintain his high performance, or give a rising junior a chance for a breakout season, jumping ETN in the rankings.

Wrong he was 1-2 with Taylor last year RB position just doesn't have much value. Still missing the point. He could have millions NOW and get to play. Instead he's missing that money and has a scratched year of CFB to play for.

Not sure I agree with toe assessment that he works have been No 2. Attached is as Fantasy Football 2019 preseason ranking with ETN at 5. Last years class was stacked with talent.

Not to mention the fact that he came back for another year of CFB and he's not going to have any say so nor any player on if they get to play or not.

Here we go with this..... Look it's not the 50s your college degree isn't the smarter option vs being drafted the average bachelors degree is worth 60k/yr and the average NFL salary is 2.7M/yr. ONE year in the NFL at league average equates to 45 years of work with a college degree. Getting your degree is a personal choice and an awful financial decision if you can be an early/mid draft pick. I'm glad he came back but let's not pretend he's getting his degree for work after football.

Degree could come in handy when the NFL folds from all the baggage they are carrying.

records.
And let me ask you this. If he had gone to the draft last year, where would he have been drafted? Mid to late 2nd? Let's say there is no season this year. Where will he be drafted next year?
