xtiger's take of the day

After i saw the video last night of Da Trump:
Is Trump a narcissist? yes Is Trump tone def a lot of times? yes Does he say dumb stuff all the time. yes. Was his answer yesterday stupid and inappropriate. yes
But seriously, the libs are overplaying their hand once again. The level of outrage vs what happened is not even close to the same level. Seeing the lib reactions, you'd think he Nuked Mexico and killed a bunch of puppies for fun.
When libs see "their chance to get" Trump, they pounce on it will their full force.
Just like the million times before, where they thought WE HAVE HIM NOW!, this too will fade away in a few days and will be forgotten.
We will all continue to flourish in this booming economy. Trump is ramping up Tax Reform 2.0 and we will all get more money in our pockets again. They will confirm a new SCOTUS judge. Life is good under Trump and the non-radicals of this country know it.

Those big liberals like Sasse, Gingrich, and Ryan really need to get their liberal sh*t together.

Well, first, I at least commend you for recognizing that what he said yesterday was very stupid.
But you're going to have to get over this "lib" stuff. The outrage and rebukes he is receiving over this is very bipartisan. Conservative leaders spoke out very strongly against Trump. Fox News slammed him.
He ###### up badly and it's not "lib" outrage as you describe. The problem is that you think anyone who dislikes Trump is a "lib".
Here are the hard truths for you, X:
-Trump is not a conservative. -He is widely disliked by Americans of all political affiliations. -True conservatives oppose him, and you see these folks on this board, in the media, and politically. -Anyone who adores Trump and his policies is not a conservative. That includes you. -This whole "lib" thing is made up to create some opposition side to Trump. Firstly, liberal never has been a dirty word no matter how hard y'all try to make it that, but it's irrelevant here as millions upon millions of Americans despise this man.
At the end of the day, he's suckling at the teet of a brutal dictator. Those who tolerate it are just as guilty.

in your mind is his success with the economy...it's remarkable what he's been able to accomplish in just 18 short months in office.

textualist jurists including Justice Gorsuch and soon to be Justice Kavanaugh. These appointments to the Supreme Court, the Appeals Courts, and even the District Courts will pay dividends for decades to come, when "Russian collusion" is relegated to the dust bin of history along with other so-called presidential scandals.

"packing the courts"....doesn't sound like a very laudable accomplishment, no matter who does it.
Only about 35% of Americans self-identify as "conservative". But the one thing the conservatives have above everyone else is that they consistently vote.
Trump may change that somewhat, but who knows.

well for 10 years. At some point before 2020 that wave is likely to hit the rocks ... or at least the beach.
Opinions may change at that point.
