worst football atmosphere

i have ever been to was last night in winston salem those ppl dont care about football or the fact they got killed on national tv .

yea i went to durham in 2004 they all suck man i hate the fact we have to go play in sh%% holes like that but whatever its the ACC

"Welcome to BB&T stadium. We hope you enjoy your visit." And the TV screen was HUGE. Bigger than ours by far.
Also the ACROSS THE STREET parking for 8 bucks looked like a Clemson home game.
Add in a but kicking, and it was a great time to be a Tiger fan.

...was very nice. The ushers were very nice. I'd definitely go back for another game. There had to be more Clemson fans than Wake fans though.

I've been to 5 clem-wake games at Wake. That was by far the worst crowd. Usually they do a little better job, but last night was terrible. Local high schools are louder. There student section was only 1/10ths full at the start of the game. 30-40% clemson fans at the game.

When the score hit 28-0, they all stood up, shook each others hands, and went home.
It is a great place to watch The Tigers play though.

small time - totally the opposite atmosphere, crowd involvement, excitement, and image than if we had, for example, been playing last night in DV against FSU.

you can only imagine what they were like 45 years ago. Was fortunate in those days to be able to travel to most away games, and the crowds were so small at some that they let those attending stand, say their names and give a short bio! And the other 9 people always clapped! I mean s-m-a-l-l. LOL

The only reason ESPEEn has us on is hopeing Wake will some how beat Clemson.
