has never happened. For those of you who take the bait and complain incessantly about the talking heads, the polls, the fact that we are facing a 4 SEC team playoff, etc., please simmer down. We all know that when we run the table, we are in the playoff, no matter how pretty or ugly the wins are. Dare I say that, even with a loss, if we win the ACC we are probably in as the defending champs, unless there are a crapload of undefeateds, which I don't see happening. And don't be jealous that we might end up out here in the AZ desert for semi ! deserttiger85 will have a cold beer waiting for you.

What he said... I wish every Tiger fan could understand what you're saying. Keep winning and it will take care of itself.
And that nice cold desert beer sounds very refreshing.

Battle of attrition...

LSU still has to play Florida, Auburn, and Bama
Auburn still has to play Florida, LSU, UGA, and Bama
Florida still has to play Auburn, LSU, and UGA
Bama still has to play LSU and Auburn
UGA still has to play Florida and Auburn

Then (probably) either UGA or Florida has to play either LSU, Auburn, or Bama in the SECCG.

This is to say that it is IMPOSSIBLE for more than one of these teams to be undefeated after the conference championship. In fact, it is more likely for four of the five to have at least two losses.

Yeah, for Clemson, it's "win and in..." much to Paul Finebaum's chagrin and dismay!

Go Tigers!

It's kind of like predicting who will win a golf tournament when only the first round has been played. The true champion plays 4 good rounds, and doesn't let the Sunday pressure get to him. Give it time.
