Exactly. Defense dominated the ENTIRE game. No busts for big plays. A few questionable PI plays... but make no mistake, our defense won that game for us.

I think that Tony Elliots nuts shrank up when auburns D came out and hit our offense in the mouth, but, he should have expected it and stayed with the game plan. And he shouldn't have been so predictable with his vanilla play calling. I got news for Tony, he can't wait around for a easier team to come up on our schedule before he will trust Kelly with our offense. He has to open it up and let Kelly take his licks and learn to control his part of the game. If he doesn't, he will be making excuses why we lost a game. Let Kelly run our offense, or take him out and put somebody else in. Talented Freshman QBs start games and grow through the season when a team has a defense like we have. One loss early in the season won't keep us out the playoffs if we can win the rest of the way. So if Kelly isn't the QB to run our offense, go with one of the very talented freshman so they can adapt now. It won't be any worse than doing nothing until next season. I'm all in with playing the best and most talentwd QB we have right now, and let our D carry the team until that QB can get a grip of our offense!!!

The D's showing up mattered every play they were on the field for thanks to your offense's performance Tony. You should be singing their praises, not giving them half arsed compliments. Peace.

Who is responsible for getting an offense into a rhythm. Is it the play caller, or is it the WR coach?
