coming into the game. Terrible excuse! We should have 5 or 6 difference plays out of that formation if he wants to keep the defense off balance anyway, but it's not like you're gonna be able to sneak two 300 pounders out there without the opposition seeing them.

is to be able to run right up the middle and the other team knows there is nothing they can do about it. If we are trying to trick teams in that formation, our OL must have more problems that we realize.
We should have signs that say "we've got 600lbs of athlete coming right at you. Good luck trying to stop us."

One of them usually goes in motion. COuld you imagine being the DE or LB. I'd be hoping that the guy on my side went in motion. Better than getting trucked on film by that much muscle.

To be honest, I knew that was why they did....IMO, my answer is "so what?? they still have to stop it". Just because they sent in guys doesn't mean they can stop it....they didn't stop it when we did actually use it. Besides, just see where they line up, then use it the other direction.

I ain't buying that either. jumbo set is not a trick or gadget play. just lining up with more beef than them and daring them to stop it.
that being said, ncst had done a decent job of doing that during the game especially with the Wayne train out.

Pretty sure that the other team always knows when Wilkins and Dexter come into the game. And they pretty much know what we're planning to do. They just can't stop it.

Can't believe he thinks they've surprised the other teams when subbing in the jumbo package. Guess he forgot they only have several coaches in the booth communicating to the sidelines.
