State of Tiger Baseball

Mar 4, 2014, 10:12 AM

I was there for that debacle. Four of us drove non-stop through night and spent alot of money to make it to first elimination game. I bought nachos and large drink barely sat down and declared S.C. the winner after watching on field body language of Jack and players(and we had PLAYERS). Diito the next day. And ditto since. Carolina has fun,we have don't have jack or I guess we do bottemline.

You guys have a very good baseball program and if you heard Holbrook he stated the same and said that the series could have easily gone 2 out of 3 to you.

Our rivalry is still as good as it gets in baseball and would not be surprised if 2 teams meet again. Think it owuld be hard to fire a coach that goes to regionals/super regionals every year. Would put alot of pressure on next coach if he knew getting to supers are not enough to keep his job.

repeat!!! when your rivals like your coach it is because they OWN US!!we loved Holtz did we not?? same thing now.. c$$ts know that as long as we have Jack they will DOMINATE us even more!! we need to get some balls and get a COACH!!

I did not say I liked him, I just said it is going to be tough to fire a guy who makes regionals/super regionals every year.

It is a tough situation for your AD but that is why they make the big bucks.

I know that coaches would also see that Jack has had 20 years with very good talent and never won the CWS. There are a very lot of coaches out there that wish they would have had the talent that Jack has had. I bet they feel that they would have won a CWS with our type of talent year in and year out. Just saying that I personally feel that today's game style has past right by Jack. A home run with just one man on base makes a big difference in the out come of a game. But a home run hitter with the bases loaded can bring you back from way down and win the game. If I were Jack right now, I would search for, and do what ever I had to do to bring the best batting coach in the country to Clemson. Errors and batting can be corrected and improved on. Jack needs to get busy with correcting both.

Coaching is not the problem for this team it is management as in manager, for those who do not know CU is in the state of SC that would be Head Coach in baseball. Hmmmmmm....

Not tough at all just tell him to retire or be fired.

If they meet again same result and again we have players. Too many rules from Jack. Carolina has adopted three rules: have fun, be yourself, and win.
